- How do I install the Mobile Money app on a new mobile phone?

If you replace your mobile phone and keep the same mobile number, simply download the app again by texting the word DOWN to 82428.
You will then be able to enter your existing Passcode and use the service immediately. If your mobile phone number changes, then you will need to re-register.
- Will I be charged by my mobile operator for accessing Mobile Money?

If you decide to download the Mobile Money app, then Virgin, Orange and Vodafone may charge you a couple of pence in data charges to register and use Mobile Money. This will depend on the type of tariff you are on. Please contact your mobile network for further information.
If you take our Text Services then no network charges apply.
Additional overseas network charges may apply when using the Mobile Money app abroad.
- Will the Mobile Money app work on my iPhone?

Apple iPhones do not currently support the application download. Specific widget based applications for these phones are currently being developed. However, you can still access text based services from these devices.

- I received a Transaction Denied error message, what should I do?

You may receive this message if you have recently been sent a replacement debit card by your bank.
Text Services customers only
You will need to delete the old card from the service and add the details for the replacement card.
To do this please follow the instructions below:
- From the Text Services homepage click the Manage Text Services button
- Enter your mobile phone number when prompted
- From the Text Services management page select Stop for the account with the replacement card
- Select Add new card to enter your new card details and setup your alerts
Mobile Money app customers only
You will need to delete the old card from the service and add the details for the replacement card.
To do this please follow the instructions below:
- Launch the Mobile Money app on your mobile phone
- Enter your Passcode when prompted
- From the main menu select Options and then Account Options
- Select your account from the list and select Delete Account
- You will then be asked to confirm that you want to delete the account - select OK
- Press OK to enter your new card details
